It was lovely to be invited to the recent E-day held for some of the smaller schools in the Taieri area. Andrea Robertson (Silverstream School) and Rach McNamara (Elmgrove School) made a great job of pulling it together.
The day begin with the students getting to know each other with a session of trick photography. It was a great warm-up.
Following that were three rounds of student-led workshops on an extensive range of topics: geocaching, animation, using Tellagami, Google slide presentations and more. It was fabulous to see students taking the lead and they made a great job of it. There was so much on offer to learn. If I had been one of the kids I would have found it hard to choose!
The job of the students now is to take their experiences back to their schools and show e-leadership within their home school.
Congratulations to the schools and teachers involved for putting together this innovative day.
